Welcome to Kosmopulse: A World of Stories, Mapped

So... this all started with a globe, a pile of news articles, and one slightly over-caffeinated brain going “What if I built a geospatial search engine instead of updating my CV again?”(Keeping it humble😎)

🌍 Introducing Kosmo Map and Pulse Archive

I’m beyond excited (and mildly terrified) to finally share what’s already up and running:

• 🗺️ Kosmo Map – An interactive 3D globe that doesn’t just spin aimlessly. It shows you where in the world things are being talked about—and who’s talking about them.Think of it as your new journalistic compass. Click a country, follow the trails, marvel at the occasional red polygon.

• 📚 Pulse Archive – A searchable collection of global news articles, enriched with tags, entities, locations, and timeline filters.

  
  

  You can explore topics like “climate” or “corruption”, track who’s getting mentioned, and see what the world is whispering (or shouting) about.

Together, they’re the core of Kosmopulse—a geospatial search engine designed for researchers, journalists, analysts, and curious humans who still believe that context matters.

🛠️ The Road So Far

This didn’t exactly start as a perfect idea or funding deck. It started more like:“Okay, I have 300 odd articles, and existential need to do something cool with them.”

Fast-forward through late nights, drafting up a plan, some market research, and a series of “why-is-this-blank-again” moments……and here we are. A globe that listens. A search engine that respects geography. A project with potential (and no corporate jargon yet).

🔮 What to Expect (a.k.a. the Next Chaotic Chapter)

I’m not done. Not even close.

Here’s what’s coming next to Kosmopulse:

• 📊 Analytics & Visualizations – Want to see the rise and fall of global figures? Track how narratives evolve over time? Oh yes, graphs are coming. Expect dashboards that tell stories—without making your eyes bleed.

• 📝 Smart Report Drafting – (AI !!!) AI-powered drafts that turn what you find into something readable (and maybe even publishable). Great for journalists, policy nerds, and anyone allergic to starting from scratch.

• 🌐 More Sources, Better Signals – The current archive is solid, but the plan is to expand across languages, regions, and perspectives—because one voice is never enough.
